Division Wholesale Banking Division
Job Purpose The Head of Products plays a pivotal role in defining and executing the product strategy for the organization, contributing to overall business growth and competitiveness. This strategic position focuses on leading a dynamic team to innovate, develop, and manage a diverse range of financial products, ensuring alignment with market demands, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. The position requires a strong understanding of Cash & Trade Products, and structured Products. An additional understanding of FX Products & fund management products.

Principal Accountabilities • Strategic
 Product strategy Development: Formulate and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
 Market analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making
 Portfolio optimization: Oversee the optimization of the product portfolio, balancing profitability, market demands, and regulatory compliance
 Revenue generation: Develop revenue-maximizing strategies for existing products and identify opportunities for new revenue streams through innovative product offerings

• Operational
 Product development: Lead end-to-end product development, ensuring products are innovative, competitive, and meet regulatory requirements
 Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization to seamlessly execute product development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
 Regulatory Compliance :Ensure all products comply with banking regulations, working closely with compliance teams to navigate and implement regulatory requirements

• Organizational
 Team leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
 Customer focus: Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, incorporating feedback into product enhancements and new product design.
 Stakeholder engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and strategic partners, to ensure alignment and support for product strategies.

Requirements

A.     Qualifications:

§  Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred

 

B.     Experience:

§  Required: Total of 12+ years of experience in Banking

§  Proven experience in a senior product management role within the banking or financial services sector

§  Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful financial product

 

C.      Additional skills:

§  strong understanding of banking products, market trends, and customer behaviors

§  Exceptional leadership and team management skills

§  Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions

§  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
